Maybe for psionics they'll go old-school and pull out "discipline" or "devotion" or "science."

Less of a mouthful than "manifestation," at any rate.

Same here. But I'd go with disciplines for ki powers and sciences or devotions for psionics. Mysteries is a good name for shadow powers, in my opinion.

Ki should hopefully pull on the Chakra stuff that Psionics and Incarna flirted with.

Water as a weakness? Seems odd. I went to college in Seattle--the first thing we learn is that we are, in fact, waterproof.

I'd rather go with "talents" or "sciences" and keep "discipline" to help delineate the classes.
