Shadowdancers and Darkvision

Hey All,

Anyone ever hear of a ruling on the effects of Darkvision on a Shadowdancer's Hide in Plain Sight ability?

The power relies on the presence of a nearby shadow (presumably to draw over the shadowdancer - "clouding the mind" so to speak), but someone viewing the area with darkvision sees no shadows. Does this effectively cancel the shadowdancer's ability?

Nowhere does it say that a character with Darkvision sees no shadows. All references to darkvision say that it functions as normal vision, but in black and white only.

Flavor text on p74 of the DMG mentions that Tordek sees a shadowless room. Because the room in question is completely dark, there can be no shadows (because there's no light), which is what the text is refering to.
