Shaman zones?

disarray2

First Post
A fellow player is starting a shaman lv 11. He was looking for ways to mark out his different zones so everyone will easily know what they are being effected by.

Some of the ideas was to create a transparentcy with the correct size and what it is wrote on it. This will cause a problem with moving it with chars on it. Another idea was to create a token in center of the zone with the size and effect but people might not notice it as well.

So my question is what is everyone doing with theirs? As a shaman do you expect the people to remember the effects you are having on them or do you go out of your way to remind them? Do you visually mark it or something else?

Try bending metal coat-hangers or any other kind of bare or painted wire into squares of the appropriate sizes.

I think a company sells something like this, but you can make functionally equivalent items for pretty much free.

We thought of that but with overlapping zones we didnt think it would work as well. Would make minis hard to stand on the map and so on. Or larger minis not able to sit half in half out of the zone.

Well, anything will have its down-sides. Wire frames have fewer issues than transparencies for mobile zones. And transparencies have fewer issues than wire frames for static zones.
