D&D (2024) Should WotC change D&D's trade dress in 2024?

On one hand, WotC is very keen to have (almost) maximum compatibility and a smooth transition.

On the other hand, the red stuff on the spines (fire? blood?) of their books looked dated almost from the beginning.

If there's an update to trade dress coming, I suspect we'll know in a few weeks, when WotC probably does their digital announcement thing in January.

Am I alone in hoping the trade dress is at least subtly updated?

I don’t know if your alone, but I like the current trade dress and hope it continues

I don’t think the company that changed their logo to this in 2021 is overly concerned with whether or not their trade dress looks dated:
