D&D (2024) Should WotC change D&D's trade dress in 2024?

My guess: Same trade dress, but in gold instead of red, for the 50th anniversary. A subtle, but noteworthy difference. And all product released in the anniversary year will have the anniversary logo on the back.

While I don't like the blood/flames/whatever it is, having it be gold foil next year would be a nice and simple upgrade.

Honestly, I could see them doing white and gold covers, like they did for the limited edition rules expanded box set. Maybe that was the practice run for their new style, in the same way that MPMM was a practice run for their new monster stats blocks.

It's funny, I never thought of it as blood but maybe you're right.

Always looked like a paint or ink brushed line or something.

I'm not against having gold in the trade dress for the anniversary stuff.
