Sneak Attack with Energy Dmg Weapon

If a rogue sneak attacks a human with a dagger with a +d6 flaming property, is it the dagger damage type or the fire damage type that the sneak attack damage counts as.

Also say rogue sneaks a were wolf with DR 10/silver. The dagger base damage would not typically penetrate the DR. The fire damage would ignore DR. Now back to the sneak attack bonus damage. Can it apply to the fire based damage, or only to the dagger based damage.

Thanks.

It's dagger damage (lethal damage). Fire damage wouldn't make sense... in that case you could easily sneak attack undead with a flaming weapon, which is not the case.

I think I saw a FAQ 'clarification' that said you do choose what type of damage the sneak attack damage was. Sorry for the second type 2 answer. If I find it, I'll post it.
