Sneak Attacks, Flanking, and Deathstrike Bracers

Torx

First Post
I imagine Deathstrike Bracers (MIC p. 93) are going to be exceptionally common for rogues. The bracers allow critical hits or sneak attacks to affect creatures normally immune to them (constructs, oozes, undead, etc). My question is this:

Some creatures, such as oozes, are immune to flanking, and the DStrike Bracers say

You must still roll a critical threat and confirm it as a critical hit or qualify to deliver sneak attack damage to gain any benefit from the bracers.

Do the bracers then allow flanking to qualify the rogue to sneak attack one of these immune creatures?

No. Neither will they allow the rogue to gain a sneak attack on a flat-footed character who has Uncanny Dodge, for example.

Being immune to flanking means you aren't put in a position where a sneak attack would apply; as opposed to being subject to flanking but immune to critical hits (like, say, a zombie), who can be put in the position where the sneak attack applies, but is not vulnerable to it. The Bracers mean that the flanked zombie can be sneak attacked... but the ooze isn't flanked at all.
