Am I just totally missing something or is this a pretty bomb-diggity feat? Maybe it doesn't work for passive checks? Otherwise this is I think an auto-matic grab for sorcerers once they hit 11th level.

You can make an Arcana check in place of an Insight or Perception check.

It's cool, but in general I don't think skill-based feats are must-haves, especially if someone else in the party is already really good at the skill in question. This is sweet for sorcerer's trying to find stealthed/invisible creatures though!

Why, Arcane Power of course! The 21st lvl feature, Paragon of Learning, gives you a +6 bonus to Arcana, Dungeoneering, History, Nature, and Religion checks. Niiiiiice!

This would be better if intelligence wasn't a dump statistic for sorcerers. This is excellent for cunning bards and illusionist wizards who multi-class into sorcerer though.

It'd be worse if wisdom wasn't even more of a dump statistic for sorcerers. Getting three skills for two feats, even if you're not uber at those skills, is still pretty decent these days.

A passive score is not a check, so you don't get "passive Arcana".

I thought this feat looked awesome, too. I'm considering having my hybrid warlock/swordmage multiclass into sorcerer partially in order to pick up that feat.
