Spell choice for spellstaff

While this should seem like a no-brainer, I am not seeing a clear choice for a spell for a spellstaff spell. What spell would you select?

I am a 13th level druid and can cast 7th level spells.

spellstaff is far from a nobrainer.. heal is a good choice... but there's some strange stuff going on with spellstaff. You can put in "any spell you can normally cast", you might want to ask your DM about that. Does this include spells cast from scrolls? Does it include spells you can cast because your cleric buddy cast "imbue with spell ability"? Also... wizards and clerics, you too can cast spellstaff (hello wish and miracle), and spellstaff is not restricted to druidic magic. spellstaff also works well with metamagic.

I just remembered...you do not actually need to cast the spell you put in the staff. It need not even be prepared, so having an uncast spellstaff gives you great flexibility, if you suddenly need a spell you didn't prepare.

Consider spells that you'd use often, or in select circumstances, that you'd not use every day.
Are you crafting it or buying one? If you're a druid crafting it, can you put in Druid spells that another Divine caster could use? Is there a Cleric in your party that could also benefit fro this?

Can you clarify what you are saying? I thought the point was that this was the spell you cast into it. It is not a spontaneous casting in any way. You have to consume components for the casting, so that implies you cast a specific spell to be used later.

"You can cast a spell stored within a staff just as though it were among those you had prepared."
