Starting Above 1st - Gear?

I know it's in here somewhere, I remember reading it, but I can't seem to find the information on starting a character above 1st level, in relation to what magic and gold they get. Anyone point me in the right direction?

One item of your level +1, one item of your level, one item of your level -1, and gold equal to the cost of an item your level -1, which can be spent on anything you like.

Aha, thanks guys. Apparently, I never did read it before in the book, as I don't recall that section at all. I was even wondering what happened to that nifty powers by level table we saw in the excerpt, after seeing that large, less intuitive one at the beginning of the PHB.
