I may just touch in at 6' with my shoes on, but were you just to listen to me, you'd think I was a crotchety old dwarf. I'm a bard because I'm pretty much a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none sort of person. As for skills, I used to like putting together models - especially planes, and still do a bit of modeling with 40K, though nothing near 'Eavy metal class work. I can draw better than stick figures, but not enough to make a living at it. On the other hand, I've received a few awards and even had some of my writing work published. Thanks to my upbringing I can do maintenance on a car engine, cook a decent dinner and a little farming on the side (if need be, not much for doing it for enjoyment). Though my original degree choice was to be architecture, I ended up in computers - where I do a mix of SQL, MS Access and Visual Basic, as well as some unix administration.

Int 14: I was doing a PhD, I guess that means I have some smarts.
Wis : Roll daily 8+d6 (depends on who's asking!): Have no common sense sometimes, other times hyper profound and come up with good ideas. Perceptive (spot the 3mm cut on the back of someones hand a lá sherlock holmes but I loose my keys sometimes..) So it's probably 12-14 with no insight skill...)
Cha 10: I wind up my wife a lot but get on well with most people most of the time.
