So I have a player who really liked the Stormcaster PrC that is in the Stormwrack book for 3.5. The fury of the elements seemed to fit the sorcerer in my mind and this is what I have come up with so far:
1st Level: Stormborn
You gain resistance to Lightining and Thunder damage types.
6th Level: Power of the Storm
The following spells are added to your prepared spells as a bonus at the listed sorcerer level. They are counted as Sorcerer spells for you.
3rd: Gust of Wind
5th: Call Lightning
15th: Control Weather
14th Level: Storm Magic
You can substitute Lightning or Thunder for the damage type in any spell you can cast.
18th Level: Lord of the Storm
You are immune to the effects of strong winds (cannot be knocked down, blown away, etc) both magical and mundane. You have advantage on all saves vs spells that deal lightning.
