Summon Undead

I was reading through my copy of Libris Mortis yesterday, and I felt puzzled as to why they stopped the Summon Undead spell series at 5, when the regular Summon Monster goes up to 9. Does anyone know if another book had a Summon Undead 6-9?

As far as I know, that's it, unless it's in the Spell Compendium.

I'm not sure that summoning a lich makes a lot of sense, though. (At the very least, it seems more like summoning an immortal archenemy who will devote his time to you never casting that spell a second time.)

Well, I probably wouldn't put Lich on the list. For starters, most of the Summon Monster spells don't go up to a Lich's CR. But something like Umber Hulk Zombies for higher level Summon Monsters would be nice.

Sorry - no known links.
The text of the spells is basically identical to the Summon Monster spells.

Also, Dragonlance - Age of Mortals has a set of Call Undead I-IX spells.
Again, the text is very simialr to the Summon Monster spells.
