Oh yes, bear in mind that Greenbound Summoning, as printed, will break your campaign, especially at low levels. (Animals you summon can cast wall of thorns as a spell-like ability, 1/day. Obviously, if you can get wall of thorns with a low-level spell slot . . . problems arise.) The author once posted on the forums here that there was an error in communications and the level adjustment got written out by mistake.

A couple of other things that are helpful:

Having premade stat blocks for your summoned monsters is important so you don't slow down the game. You can download a set here.

It is easy, particularly as your summoner gains levels, to overlook some random but useful spell-like ability of a summoned monster. This thread highlights some of the better ones.
