Wow, there is a lot a dragon hate on this thread. Very interesting. They get both the most love and the most hate. I wonder what that is about.

I get the love (and not just because I am biased), but I would guess some of the hate is based primarily on the fact that they are so popular. It reminds of a friend who would no longer follow a band once they became popular and would eventually he always disliked them.

Now back to doing something productive for these forums!

Ancient dragons are hard to reach nowadays. CR so high there is little room for error. Many say its too easy but if they're wrong it's tpk and the DM bears some blame there.
