Folks,
I am looking for a system that is like Battletech/MechWarrior that has static weapon damage, and a limited number of hit points. This would enable for a quick and fast play; however, I want it to be simple for more of a tactical rpg game. Armor might had HP to characters, but only on a small scale.
I guess I can do D&D any version and just make the damage dice static for the average; however, it seems that there might be a better solution.
