Terrible deeds

Hung before the tavern is the mangled corpse of the paladin Sovelis; ivory spikes and burns from negative energy mar his body as well. A dagger pins a letter to his chest and it reads, "To those wishing to be heroes."

The newly spotted priest, known as Noticus, approaches the corpse. He'd come along from some wayward path, and had seen the body for a day or two now.... "Still here, fang-bait?" he asks the body, as if expecting it to talk back. "Seems no one cares for dead heroes anymore... A pity I'm the one who seems to care........ and I'm talking to you like you're still in there......... Huh..." he cackles at himself then reaches up to pull the body down...... And off he carries the body....
