D&D 5E Thaumaturgy Cantrip.

Yeah it really depends on if the DM allows it to influence skill checks. If so its useful, if not its basically just fluff, and of no real use. If it can be used that way it steps on the toes of the Guidance Cantrip.

But that's also true of Presidgatation and Druidcraft. These Cantrips seem RP focused, with little mechanical meat to them.

I’ve held Prestidigitation to be the greatest spell in the game for thirty years and don’t expect to ever change my mind* — my mages have always been clean and well-tailored whilst traipsing through the dungeons besides their filthy blood-soaked adventuring companions...

(* although I do love how Vicious Mockery lends itself to being the French Knight on the turrets telling the enemy to go away or else you shall taunt them a second time!)
