First Post
Alkatyri

Flavour: The Alkatyri are an organization based in Farhaven that is over 1000 years old. Originally created as an elite, elven-only protection force the colonial city of Farhaven, the mission of the Alkatyri changed from protecting the more advanced culture from the semi-barbarous peoples, to helping the spread of civilization throughout the known world. The Alkatyri are wizards, warriors and diplomats concurrently.
The ranks of the Alkatyri have swelled to include members of every intelligent race, although because of the demography of Farhaven the group is composed of mostly human, elves, and halflings. The types of people that join the Alkatyri are equally diverse as the only class-specific ability required is arcane magic.

L9 Bonus Feat
L10 Alkatyri Weapon Channelling, +1 Effective Caster Level
Alkatyri Style – Add Int bonus to AC, only works while wearing light armour or less and with or without a shield.
Armoured Casting – Subtract the amounted listed from casting failure; stacks with Armoured Casting the feat, but only works while in light armour or less and with or without a shield
Alkatyri Casting Mastery – When casting defensively the Alkatyri may take “10” on their concentration check, but only works while in light armour or less and with or without a shield.
Alkatyri Weapon Mastery – Alkatyri may add ½ his or her Int modifier rounded down to any attack role with the Nalanniel weapon.
Alkatyri Weapon Channelling – Alkatyri may create a weapons enchantment that is not attached to any particular weapon. The Alkatyri may choose any weapon enchantment ability of “+1” worth and enchant themselves with it. Whenever the Alkatyri is using a Nalanniel weapon they may activate this enchantment. The enchantment does not apply to weapons that have the same affect already functioning on them or weapons that the enchantment does not regularly affect or if the weapon already has an effect on it which does not stack with the channelled ability regularly. The cost of creating this enchantment equal to creating a +1 weapon minus the costs of the masterwork weapon. The Alkatyri may dispel or suppress this ability at any time, and may re-enchant themselves anytime. This abilty is never effected by dispel magic, although anything that can end a permanent weapon enchantment can dispel or disrupt this ability.
Bonus Feat – Chosen from either the Metamagic or Fighter Bonus Feat list (special wizard and fighter feats, like spell mastery and weapon specialization cannot be chosen, neither can item creation feats).

Nalanniel (General)
Become an initiate of the Alkatyri, and be taught the early lessons of their weapons mastery.
Prereqs: Ability to cast 1st level arcane spells, BAB +3, proficiency with a longsword or a short sword, permission of the alkatyri, or at least training by a rebel member
Benefit: Gain weapon finesse for either a longsword (if medium-sized) or short-sword (if small-sized), without this feat these weapons wouldn't be finesseable. Regular rules for weapon finesse apply. If wielding two weapons, even if both are the Nalanniel weapon, this ability only applies to the one in the main hand.
