Did you ever wonder where all of that meaningless fodder goes when it is indescriminantly chopped, burned and blasted out of existence?
The answer is simple.
The elemental plane of fodder.
Imagine a large grassy plane, stretching into the distance. Now envision it covered in dead kobolds.
Imagine a large forest, with old trees reaching towards the sky. Now imagine it coated in peices of dead goblins.
Imagine a massive blue sea, streaching towards the horizon. Now imagine that there are peices of dead zombies floating around.
This is the elemental plane of fodder.
This is where fodder that has served it's purpose goes to be reincarnated into more fodder, get killed again, and regenerated again and so on.
Some fodder roams this plane, eventually getting killed and reincarnating back on the material plane.
That fodder that has actually killed somebody important stays on the plane and becomes a being of immense power, eating other fodder.
Fodder (new minions, better fodder) and places (the sea of dead kobolds, dead goblin forest) are needed for this new plane
