Yay

653 On a brighter note, there's always fantastic individuals like Arathil, who do come to the rescue of us bad spellers, people like me who are hugely ridden with typo demons.

Right Back At Ya... ;)

It invariably follows, that when a person complains about spelling errors, and mentions those who are known for typing out entire paragraphs (say, 4-6 lines... it does happen...) without managing to get a single word right (you have to admit, it's a bit mood-shattering), the individuals who make a typo, say, once out of every 50-100 words or so immediately assume one is referring to them.

:D

[self destructive humor] And here I didn't think anyone had taken notice of Draconus/Draxionus. Wait, his form that fits that description is thirteen and a half feet tall, nevermind. [/self destructive humor].
Yes, that is a character of mine who is obcenely powerful, which is why he never enters combat ( Aside from one time where he did very little ) and rarely shows up to begin with. :p But that's the result of working on a complete setting designed to fit low and high levels and wanting to test out the personalities of the important NPCs for it.

As for the historical note on assassins, there are also literary and film cases of assassin types who focused on splitting their training between stealth and combat, so there's still a precedent for that type as well.

Now for some new ones ( Although 654 seems to have gone invisible on us... j/k ) :

656a. It's common knowledge that powerful characters make their player a power gamer. Who cares if the character has a massive achilles heel that will cripple them if hit, power leads to godmoding. Well hidden weaknesses are as bad as being invincible.

656b. If such a weakness ever does come out, all who know the player of the character who discovered the weakness will know about it and be able to exploit it, regardless of whether or not their characters were able to do so beforehand.

656c. If such a weakness is ever defended against through use of one of the character's strengths, he will be declared a god and all will give up looking for the way to get through the defense. Usually when within three seconds of doing so.

657. Just when you think that your computer is going to finally let you on site to have your character spend time with some of the others he knows, the Blue Screen of Death will show you how wrong you are. Computers can be evil, evil things....

658. The bootezu and typo'ri all serve the same deity, the greater god Kernell32.DLL ( Computer term that I would give my left leg to not understand, for I know it all too well. ) All fear the Blue Screen of Death!

660. It is highly likely that several different people will re-phrase and re-use rules that are considered witty, already noted in this collection.

:smirk: :D ;)

[redundancy]661. People are know to frequenly create more rules that restate an all-ready stated point within the many pages of this thread. [/redundancy]

662. Only the most insane people think that things like lichs and vampires and cat people and lizard folk and 500th level spell caster demon/angel/cat person/lizard folk/vampire/lich/&c are actually extraordinairily rare things that must congregate in the emporium or tavern during their year-round breeding season in which they may further their all-ready extensively huge and rare genus.

662b. Pregnancy of said creatures is one-two weeks. Childhood and adolescens depends on availability of magic. One wonders that since all intelligent animals have long childhoods filled with play and teaching, how they manage to grow to know everything about anything involving life, the universe and every thing... 663. When a thread gets this long and the number of rules is steadily approaching 700, people are permitted to forget what has an has not been stated already. This goes double when said people spend all their time either reading or typing other things :p

664. Some things deserve to be said more than once.

665. Some things deserve to said more than once.

666. Never underestimate the power of a well phrased remark. It can smite the mighiest of foes and it bypasses most defense mechanisms.
