From the title I thought maybe there'd be some kind of nod to Kundera. I had that so very, very wrong.

Whenever I see Nicholas Cage is in a movie my question is "does he go full Cage?" Does he put all his eccentricity and manic intensity in the part and bring out the crazy eyes?

With this film we at least know that the entire premise is going full Cage. Whether that is actually achieved and whether the results will be satisfying is an open question. All that is guaranteed is it is the role Cage was born to play.
