The Wraith of Muhagir

Just west of Halruaa lies the mountain chain known to humans as the west wall, on the far side of these mountains near the Mhair Jungles lies a area were human never have set foot so it have no human name but to the little gobblin tribe who have been living here for as long as they remember, it is called Muhagir and the tribe calls itself the wraith of Muhagir, why? Well they don’t remember.

Every spring the tribe calls all the young goblins who are nearing adulthood for the Rite of Passage were they must travel over the mountains into the big ones land and bring back loot, not all the young ones return but those that do are now counted as adult warriors.

You have been called this year.

Things to know about the Wraith of Muhagir the are goblins in all the traditional stealing, stabbing and worshiping evil powers, the biggest differs from other goblin tribes are their spiritual leaders.
A few generations back the tribe was decimated in a war ageinst kobolts who killed most of the clergy, a few other goblins with magic power used this opportunity to siege the respected position of spiritual leadership by claiming it was the gods punishment because the clergy had become fat and selfish, goblins always need to blame someone for bad things, so the tribe killed the rest of the clergy and since then it have been a council of Shamans (Read druids, sorcerers and other casters who are non-clerics)

The Wraith of Muhagir was once part of a great army of evil humanoids who decedent on the human nation of Halruaa, after some raiding the army was broken and split of fleeing the human pursuit, most were obligated before the got away but a small group of Goblins managed to flee west over the mountains known as the west wall.

Here they settled down and began to grow again, they found out quickly that they were lock down because to the north a tribe of kobolds known as the Yellow Vipers had territory and they weren't friendly, to the west in the jungle the Blackscales lived a tribe of lizardmen who worships a black dragon, to the south lives a hydra who eats all that comes near.

Some years back The clergy saw sign from the gods that it was time to attack the Yellow Vipers but the losses were horribly on both sides, a goblin Sorcerer by the name Malih used the opportunity to throw down the clergy and made the Shaman council which governs the spiritual interests of the tribe.
Since then the Shamans have been quick in killing any goblin who hears the call of priesthood while promoting and training any who shows any form of magic potential into the cast of the shamans.

Nagh the cruel - Warchief (Warrior)
Nagh have been Warchief for the last seven summers since he killed the former while he was taking a bath, as Nagh says "he was beginning to show softness, bathing are for elves" Nagh Is strong and cruel, he has a firm hold over the tribe and is good at playing the elder shamans against each other to get what he wants.

Shaman council:

Stygh- elder Shaman (Sorcerer)
Stygh is weak even for a goblin but because of the magic power he has at his disposal, nobody dares to oppose him openly, he is pressing for a more defensive policy, to build defenses and make allies were Nagh calls for raids and Nahl are more contempt in just following his wimps.

Nahl - elder shaman (Druid)
Nahl is the envy of many of the tribe since he have been blessed by the gods, with the gift of taking the form of a great black panther, he is mostly contempt with hunting when he feels like and being catered to the rest of the time, because most of Styghs ideas sounds as to much work he often oppose him while if in the mood for some sport he goes with Nagh on raids.

Grool - elder shaman (commoner)
Grool is specially gifted by the gods he sometimes receives omens and visions (suffers from epilepsy) and mosty else just stares into the home of the gods (brain damaged from when he had a epilepsy attack and lay in a puddle of water for a minute ) the other elder shamans translate his ramblings and tells what the gods have decreed.

He carries numerous pouches which have all manner of mushrooms in all manner of forms(paste, dried, pickled,etc.). [/sblock]

[sblock=Background] Waking one day in the midde of a mushroom forest Azreh couldn't remember anything up till that day. It was said he ate a bad mushroom while traveling but Azreh protests this. He says the mushrooms gave him a vision of the powers they possess, that with them he could perform all sorts of miracles. He started working and working learning through trail and error the properties of all the different mushrooms of the underdark. [/sblock]
