Themon

Lwaxy

Cute but dangerous
In the legends and campfire tales of the natives, one name kept coming up again and again, sometimes only as a side mention. No matter if it was to frighten children or the new arrivals. Most of the time, the name is spoken in true worry, if not in fear.
Themon, the ancient dragon from the north. The stories never seem to agree on his color, but black, white or white and blue are the colors most often mentioned. He is described as a magic wielding creature of great malice, raised by an unnamed foe of the past.
The dragon is said to have disappeared a while before the new races arrived. Supposedly, no one has defeated it, but one legend claims he was felled by a group of ice giants tired of his intrusions. Of course, ice giants are only legends for most people, too.
Common phrases include "may Themon get you," "looks like the lair of Themon," "don't say the dragon's name," and "Themon was here."
