Synopsis: While Rogue Squadron valiantly tries to hold off the forces of the Empire, the technicians in Ion Control have been tasked with retrieving the computer cores from the main computer center. Sounds easy enough, except Echo Base has sustained a direct hit, cutting off your direct path from the control room of the Ion Cannon to the main computer center. And to make it worse, Jobin Mothma has just radioed from his post: "Imperial troops have entered the base! Imperial troops have *static*" It's up to you to retrieve the computer cores, or destroy them before the Imperial troops can access them and learn where they rendezvous point is, then make your way back to your ship.

Available Characters
Mathis Atlar (Human Scoundrel from Corellia - Slicer)
Mathis is not the typical Corellian; he's cautious. He's not opposed to a good scam, or taking advantage of someone behind a Pazaak or Sabaac deck, but he only does so if he's absolutely sure he can get away with it. He believes a con man is no good if people know he's a con man, no matter how skilled and persuasive. Before joining up with the Alliance, he ran a computer security business. Now he's mostly a slicer.

Janis Tan Cozans (Human Noble from Alderaan - Diplomat)
Janis is one of the group of Alderaanians in charge of the Ion Cannon at Echo Base. After destroying the cannon, she's supposed to ensure the rest of the final tasks are taken care of before evacuating the base, making her the defacto leader of the commando squad in charge of taking care of the base computers. She's a capable leader, though tends to get depressed when thinking about Alderaan. Some Alderaanians found a new resolve to defeat the Empire, some found hatred and anger, Janis just found depression when Alderaan was destroyed. She does her job just to keep her mind off of things; it's not like she has anything else of importance in her life now.

Tobin Dannig (Human Scout from Chandrila - Demolitions/Sniper)
Tobin grew up around Senator Mon Mothma and her son, Jobin. The similarities in their names made the pair try to convince everyone at school they were twins separated at birth. They thought it was hilarious, particularly since they looked nothing like each other. Tobin joined the military right out of school, becoming a forward observer and demolitions expert. He also practiced sharpshooting when he could. Today is not a good day for him: he's pretty sure Jobin died when Imperial troops invaded Echo Base, Jobin's last words still echoing in his mind ("Imperial troops have entered the base! Imperial troops have…*static*).

Drex (Trandoshan Soldier from Dosha - Guns & Melee)
Drex is coldly efficient, but loyal and eager to prove to the Alliance and his companions that he is not a bloodthirsty Wookiee-hunter like so many of this brethren. Of course, that doesn't mean he likes Wookiees any better, but he dislikes the Empire even more. And since the Empire forced the Rebels to come to Hoth, he really hates them. He's looking for a bit of revenge on the Empire for making him freeze his scales off on this ice cube.

Koshakga'lor aka Koshak Gakir (Twi'lek from Nar Shadda - Sneaky Scoundrel)
Koshak is a cynical, stubborn, pale-skinned Twi'lek who grew up in Nar Shadda. She grew sick of lewd advances from everyone from Hutts to smugglers, so she left on the first freighter she could find. That freighter was then attacked and captured by members of the Rebel Alliance needing the supplies it carried. Figuring they were better than either pirates or the Empire, Koshak joined up with them. She learned how to be stealthy while growing up in the armpit of the galaxy, as well as how to bypass various security systems.

Kyya Gekkrhan (Zabrak Mechanic/Pilot from Iridonia)
Essentially the Captain of the Consular-class Cruiser, the Steadfast, Kyya used to be a Y-Wing pilot. She was credited with one kill before being forced to eject during the Battle of Anaxanar VII. Though she prefers starfighters, she realizes she's better at the helm of a capital ship than she ever was at the yoke of a Y-Wing. When she's not helping the mechanics of Echo Base repair the bases' starfighters or adapting the snowspeeders to the cold climate, she and her droid, R5-YB spend their time tweaking the Steadfast, making its age and appearance truly deceptive to those who would underestimate her.

R5-YB aka Yellow Belly (R5 Astromech Droid Mechanic)
Named for his yellow paint job, Yellow Belly is the property of Kyya Gekkrhan. The Zabrak pilot relied on her trusty droid to help her make repairs on her Y-Wing, until they were shot down about 6 months ago. Due to the shortage of starfighters, and the overabundance of more skilled pilots than Kyya, the pair have resigned themselves to fixing up an Old Republic Consular-class Cruiser, the Steadfast.

Chorila Thubis (Rodian Scoundrel from Nar Shadda - Guns, Guns, Guns)
The Hunt, that's what most Rodians live their lives for. Chorila is no different; she just hunts a different type of prey. She once hunted for anyone with a price on his head, but after picking up the trail of the wrong Imperial, she paid for it with six months in a prison camp full of agonizing pain and starvation. Now she hunts anyone in an Imperial uniform, taking great pleasure in stalking them and killing them. She has a notch on the butt of her pistol for every Imperial killed.

Mak Tannin (Human from Tatooine - Gunner)
"Hey, did you know Luke Skywalker?" (or "Biggs Darklighter?") is a question Mak has been asked several dozens times. Every time he hears it, his enmity for the erstwhile-Jedi and leader of Rogue Squadron grows. Mak figures he's about the only rebel from Tatooine who didn't become a hotshot fighter pilot. After about the twentieth time hearing the question after only two days in the Rebel Alliance, Mak decided he was going to be a capital ship gunner. That way, he could spend the war shooting at those hotshot fighter pilots. Of course, he's shooting at Imperials, not rebels, but in his imagination, every TIE Fighter is crewed by Luke or Biggs.

Yep, there's room. I don't think people will have problems with dibs; they pretty low key, but we'll play that by ear.
