The parallels between WotC's latest D&D adventure and their new expansion for M:tG, Ixalan seem pretty clear.

A tropical land of mystery containing a mythical hidden city. Dinosaur like creatures and pirates and more...

They're not crossing the streams - but my goodness they're letting them get dangerously close! :D

Bonus for those of us that like the M:tG settings for D&D adventures - Ixalan is getting a map! https://magic.wizards.com/en/products/ixalan/map

I guess my tweet at James Wyatt might have had some success after all?!

I see your point but I have to say that Faerūn, and its jungles of Chult are quite older than Magic The Gathering ;)

A similar thing happened with Curse of Strahd / Shadows Over Innistrad (Innistrad is the MTG gothic horror setting). Both dropped around the same time, and we got a guide on running Curse of Strahd on Innistrad instead of Barovia.

I’m expecting we’ll see a guide on running TOA on Ixalan, as well - but it probably wouldn’t come out until after the second Ixalan expansion, January or February next year.

I saw the Ixalan map as well, I hope that becomes the norm for these MTG planes.

I use a mash up of Ixalan art TWC1 The Maztica Campaign Guide (http://www.dmsguild.com/product/171534/TWC1-The-Maztica-Campaign-Guide ) ; The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan from TotYP and what I have learned from the maztca Triology to relocate my ToA campaign to Maztica

Still working on it but I need mroe art for the halflings for example and still wondering how to change the dragne in the mine or if I should drop it or what to replace the hart of Ubtou with

I been looking nothing that I want to add to my current deck builds at this time Fire Shrine 1 cost red I could leverage in one of my decks, everything else is just nothing that excites me pirates or dinosaurs kind like ok
