Tower Shield Cover Bonus

Does the cover a tower shield offer's to its wielder also apply to the enemies he is fighting in melee!? (Lets say the wielder is gaining one-half cover for a bonus of +4 to his AC. Is this +4 also added to the enemies AC he is fighting). I think I read that it did, but a player has asked me this question when rolling up their character. thanks

Yes - but your enemy only gets that cover from you or (anyone in your direction, I suppose).
