Bards and Sages announces the release of two new micro-adventures for d20/OGL games: A Matter of Honor and A Stealthy Thief.
Every GM has been in this predicament. One of the players is running late, and nobody wants to start the main quest without him. But nobody wants to sit around waiting, either. Its times like this when you need a filler to keep the players entertained, and that’s exactly what these micro-adventures are for.
Both supplements include encounters scaled for different levels, so that you can use these micro-adventures for parties from level one to level eight with minimal effort. Everything you need is included: background information on the region, some local lore to add depth and make the adventure feel organic to your own setting, monster and NPC stats, and even pre-generated treasure.
A Matter of Honor can be run in thirty minutes or less. Its perfect for those points when the party is traveling by land from one location to another and you need a quick encounter to break up the travel. A Stealthy Thief can be run in thirty minutes to an hour, depending on the encounters selected for the party, and can serve as not only a filler adventure but as the impetus to get a group together to launch a new campaign in the first place.
