Variant harpy mostly fluff difference.
in the adventure a bard changes a harpy into a goodly lovely creature and it implies that the change may be genetic.

After checking that issue of Dungeon, the difference is entirely fluff.

The titular character in the scenario, Melody, is a harpy who's been raised to be neutral good and had a magical cosmetic makeover. Mechanically she's just a harpy. The name "eoshee" is just something her deceased foster father came up with to help convince her she was unrelated to harpies.
