It's unusual for them to do a promotion like this on top of the usual low prices for books that have yet to be released. They must be getting quite a few cancellations. A few people I know had pre-ordered with them, then cancelled once they found out a local store was going to get them early. I did the same thing.

This promotion is not related to D&D in any way. It's a general Amazon sale on all books. It's just a happy coincidence that it matches up well with the release of D&D.

If you're not wanting to get more than one of the D&D books, you could always pad your order with Dover Thrift editions. There are lots of classics you can get for $1-2 a piece.

I picked up the Kobold Guide to Worldbuilding. Kobold Press has several good books that can make you a better DM or help with creating custom games/settings.

I used the 20 code, thanks. The 30 did not work for me. I picked up a couple cheap puzzle books to round off the order.
