Hello all,
Vanishing Goblin Inc. is looking for an editor to work on roleplaying products on a freelance basis. Products will include sourcebooks and large adventures. Some experience is preferred (although not absolutely necessary), and a good working knowledge of d20 rules (both fantasy and modern) is a must.
Editors must be able to perform content editing, game mechanics editing, wordsmithing (e.g., search out passive voice), and proofing.
Reliability is vitally important – do not bother to send in a resume if you are not sure of your ability to meet deadlines.
We will most likely select a “primary” editor who will get first pick of jobs, and a “bullpen” of one or two editors who will be available for overflow work. Jobs will begin within the next two months.
E-mail resumes to info@vanishinggoblin.com with the words “Editing Resume” in the title of the e-mail. Resumes should be in MS Word or rich-text-format (rtf) files.
Rates will be discussed with those editors who are selected. Deadline for submission of resumes is Friday, July 02, 2004.
