I've thought about the wolflord PrC, but in my opinion, it is rather underpowered. The loss of druid spell progression is too much to give up.

I made one marinelord character and convinced the DM to just continue the druid progression instead of starting over again. never got a chance to play it, so I can't say if it would ahve been unballancing or not...

Thanks for your thoughts. I was wondering whether the wolflord prc would be overpowered if it just retained druid spell progression. I don't think that it would under the circumstances, because you are giving up quite a bit of druid special abilities and flexibility in wildshape by going this route. I don't want to ask my DM for too much, but I also don't want to nerf my character so he is ineffectual at later levels.
