Vicious weapon and grappling

If a character is wielding a vicious dagger and has become pinned, what happens when the person who has him pinned forces an attack with the dagger?

Does the grappler take the extra damage because he is making the attack?

Does the one holding the dagger take the extra damage because he is holding the dagger when the attack was made?

Do they both take the extra damage since one is holding the weapon and the other is making an attack with it?

The person recieving the attack takes the 2d6, the person making the attack takes the 1d6 backlash. Doesn't matter who owns the dagger, just matters who is making the attack with it. It's not an issue of the pointy bit dealing X damage and the holdy bit dealing Y, or whose hands are where, it's all about attacker and victim.
