Want to smell like an orc... or a paladin...

They make perfumes that supposedly smell like several different races, classes and alignments. Has anyone tried these?

DWARF
Iron filings and chips of stone, Styrian Golding hops, and soot-covered leather.

ELF
Pale golden musk, honeycomb, amber, parma violet, hawthorne bark, aspen leaf, forest lily, life everlasting, white moss, and a hint of wild berry.

HALF-ELF
White sandalwood, beeswax, white tea leaf, oud, and a hint of sophisticated urban musk.

HALFLING
Porridge, kukui nuts, and pastry crumbs.

ORC
Field grey courgette musk, roughly cured leather, and vetiver.

CLERIC
Rose amber, frankincense, myrrh, champaca flower, Peru balsam, cistus, palisander, cananga, hyssop, and narcissus absolute.

FIGHTER
Leather, musk, blood, and steel.

MAGE
All mystique and thrumming power: gurjum balsam, Sumatran dragon's blood resin, olibanum, galangal, oleo gum resin, and frankincense.

PALADIN
Immaculate white musk, sweet frankincense, bourbon vanilla, white leather, and shining armor.

RANGER
Untamed wilderness: buckskin accord with Terebinth pine, Russian birch, black ironwood, elder bark, hay, armoise, juniper, patchouli, galangal root, Spanish moss, and cabreuva.

ROGUE
Soft, well-worn black leather, hemp, and rosin.
.roll the dice.

NEUTRAL
A flawless skin musk.

LAWFUL
Rigid oak, blue chamomile, rhubarb, and fig leaf.

CHAOTIC
A whirling mélange of multicolored musks with wasabi, rooibos, heliotrope, and mastic.

GOOD
Shimmering celestial musk with vanilla, white honey, acacia, and sugar cane.
.roll the dice.

EVIL
Smouldering opium tar, tobacco absolute, green tea, black plum, kush, ambergris accord, ambrette seed, and costus root.

Those should work in-game to foil scent attampts.

That seems rather generous for dwarves and orcs.

My wife is a huge fan of BPAL (and RPGing heh) and she has been wanting to order some of this collection for awhile.

My first reaction was "why?", but after thinking about it, I'm curios to smell some of these.

All I can think of when I see these are they look like failed spell component recipes...

I was just knew I was going to see "eye of newt and toe of frog...."

My wife, (who is a fan of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab) has noted that they figured out the trick of making perfumes into a Collectible Trading Scent Game. Good geek-marketing, that.

She doesn't have any of the RPG scents (they are new this month), but she's been known to use other of their perfunmes in live-action games. I have an imp of Mechanical Phoenix (a limited edition steampunk scent - it smells like engine oil and hot metal) for when I was playing a mechanic in a post-apocalypse larp.

That seems rather generous for dwarves and orcs.

Well, some of the "musk" scents are kinda nasty, at least to my nose....

They need to goto conventions and spray down the smelly gamers.

Paladin might be good, maybe get some of that high Charisma rubbing off to impress the women.

Orc? I have a hard enough time finding good women.
