Warlock's Curse of Gloves of Piercing Frost

Warlock activates Gloves of Piercing.

Warlock hits an already-cursed "generic enemy with resist cold 10" with Curse of Black Frost and ignores the resist cold for the attack.

Warlock uses minor action to sustain curse - does 2d8 cold damage.

a) Does this overcome the resist cold 10?

Enemy's turn: Enemy moves. Takes 1d8 cold damage (curse still on)

b) Does this overcome the resist cold 10?

Warlock's turn - uses minor action to draw potion and standard action to administer it to dying friend (awwww.). Then uses move-to-minor action to sustain curse - does 2d8 cold damage.

c) Does the Warlock add 1d6 damage from his Warlock's curse?

As the effect of the gloves lasts until the end of the encounter, presumably the effect would apply also to the damage the target recieves when the warlock is sustaining the power.

a) Note that the warlock can't sustain the power in the round he cast it. But yes, the sustaining of the power would pierce the resistance of the enemy.

b) Yes, the gloves are still active, so the 1d8 is resistance piercing.

c) No, the warlock's curse ability requires you to hit your enemy in order to deal extra damage to him. Sustaining a power does not require a hit (in most cases).
