As someone mentioned above, a tinker traditionally worked with soft metals like tin. So small works of art and knickknacks, maybe embellishments on larger sculptures or buildings and other household items. But in a fantasy setting, with ‘tinker’ gnomes, you might allow more complex items. It’s in the same theme and line as carpenter tools. (Translation: not very exciting)
