WotC just dropped a free introductory adventure PDF on their Facebook page. Monster stats are very very basic as well as the pregen characters. Peril in Pinebrook is the name.
Yep. Delicious started in what...2014. Same year as 5E. Was there any "eat the monsters" stuff before that? Maybe Keith Baker's "let them eat troll" (which sounds like a great mod policy), but I don't know when that became a thing.Particularly with the Delicious in Dungeon anime coming out on Netflix next year (and the manga has recently concluded in Japan).

That was also part of the education initiative at WotC. The whole initiative is cool.WotC just dropped a free introductory adventure PDF on their Facebook page. Monster stats are very very basic as well as the pregen characters. Peril in Pinebrook is the name.
Lol! Fast food?!it's the same one from the educator resources.
The social marketing is interesting, because it's basically "intro your friends and family over the holidays with this lighter version of D&D"
Back on topic: Chicken.
I had a player want to eat cockatrice. It was stoney chicken.Lol! Fast food?!

There was a bit in a KODT strip with a throwaway gag about the uses of purple impalers "With Brian talking about 'slay and filet'" until they got into the main gag that was BA's new Critical Miss tables.Yep. With all of this cool new beginner stuff theybare putting out, wonder if a new box set is coming in 2024. Seem plausible, the Stormwrek Isle set is still lpretty new but maybe a new "Expert Set" sort of wquivwould make sense. That was also part of the education initiative at WotC. The whole initiative is cool.
