What protects against stunning?

The spells Iron Body and Elemental Body protect a character from stunning. The spell Freedom can free a character from stunning. What else is there? I'm not interested in prestige classes or weird races, just ways a normal character could protect himself.

Would a character wearing armor of Heavy Fortification be protected from the Monk's stunning attacks?

Best defense not be there.

I'm not aware of a specific defense, except maybe Body of Iron and it's derivatives (Body of Oak, Psychoactive Skin of Iron, etc).

All the stunning attacks I'm aware of are Fort saves. Anything that improves your Fort save would help against stunning. This would include multiclassing between the fighting and cleric classes, the Great Fortitude feat, and the Endurance spell.

Bret: Color Spray stunns you, but has a Will save. Word of Chaos grants no save at all.

You could Shpagechange (9th) into an Elemental which is immune to stunning effects.
