Just wondering:
Why is Forge of War seemingly singled out as a problematic book with regards to the official lore of Eberron?
I'm fully aware that Eberron is built with a bit more open-ended kitchen sinkiness than previous D&D campaign settings and therefore EVERY book is intended to be taken with a grain of salt or adjusted to suit a DM's needs.
But whenever I do searches on lore discussion there's always a random comment about how Forge of War is unreliable and even Hellcow Keith Baker says that that book got its presentation of Thrane wrong.
So what's the big deal about Forge of War?
