I would rather have nothing new from that, than have it run down like other shows that didn't know when to pack it up and say "I'm done." *cough*Alias*cough* That just leaves bad tastes in fans' mouths.

Isn't this going to be "Alias"' last season?

I just started watching this month. One of my housemates showed it to me on DVD, and we watched a few episodes at a time. Finished the third season.

Serenity costed 40 million to make.
It made 25 million in theatres.
A typical move gets about half of its profits from theatres and half from DVDs.

It's quite reasonable to hope that Serentiy will end up with a total gross of more than fifty million, a tidy profit for Universal. Their's still hope.
