At this point, what character decisions do you wish you had made? Core only, please.

Not doing whatever had landed me in prison.

As has been said, there's loads of potential characters that can be useful here. A Druid wildshaping into something with a burrow speed might have potential.

hehe, only Hyp could've turned a Cursed Sword into a good thing. :p

Is it possible to further enchant Cursed items? How much would it cost to turn that -2 into a +0... and would it be possible to raise it to a +5?

Once you break down the door, ask the Sorcerer-with-Eschew-Materials in the next cell to cast Greater Magic Weapon on it...

-Hyp.

The guys running the prison clearly have no idea what to do. There is no permanent anti-magic field, and they arent even chaining up the sorcerers/monks.

Or, to look at it another way, your average prison doesn't account for incarcerating high-level adventuring types, and they have no mystical way of knowing what your class is outside of a general category (this guy's beefy, this one had a holy symbol, this one had a pouch of components and a toad hiding in his pointy hat). Heh, a halfway smart monk or similar would tell them he was a hired porter or something.

Beyond that, ya know what they do with the folks that are too dangerous to contain via normal measures? I'll give you a hint, it's a lot cheaper than paying for a permanant anti-magic field. :p
