Started gaming with the Jackson/Livingstone Fighting Fantasy books, first GM'd a game using the Fighting Fantasy multiplayer system when I was 12-ish.

Currently 22-something economics almost-graduate from a London University.
Despite originating from the barbarian wastes of Newcastle, don't enjoy football, partying, alcohol and despise cigarettes.
Specialised in D&D, preference runs about 65% Narrativist, 35% Gamist.

Future currently questionable, all depending on what I will do in the near future. Pondering moving to Cambridge. (Is it a good place to live?)

Another Cambridge connection here, lived there for 5 years before the job moved me to Macclesfield (nr Manchester)

I used to DM a 3rd ed game and now I'm looking for a new group if anybody has any hints :)

I've always wanted to game but Cambridge was my first real chance. Other than that I've always read loads and crave any computer game with a half way decent story.

Currently living in South Wales, but originally from Dorset. Aged 35, been playing for 24 years but struggle to do much in between work (managing a Superstore for one of the major food retailers) and family - married with 3 boys. Occasionally get a game with the kids. Started playing as part of an AD&D group but then DM'd OD&D / Basic for a while. Have tried all sorts of RPGs and like 'em all. Love music, mostly rock, and medieval history. Have a weakness for good whisky and wine. Wife advises that wild women are off limits....

Just thought I'd post here to say that I was expecting to see a lot of great cockney(sp) slang, and am sad to see none. Too bad.

Because it will make Die Kluge happy and pander to a load of prejudices

One currently lives in Oxford; but everyday I get in my moater and 'ed down the frog 'n toad to the smoke.

<Not keeping that up>

I pushing 30, work in the "other" Gaming industry and have been doing what you would call "Gaming" for more years than you would care to remember.

I'm now Ref in a Cyberpunk Larp in Leicester and have still never played any incarnation of D&D F-t-F

Also my mother's side is from Somerset and I can assure people that there are definate degrees of West Country Accent:
"Twodn't"
"Rennet?"

i'm a 24 year old Gentleman of Leisure (read: worthless bum) born, raised and residing in Reading, Berkshire (a place which until my recent visit to Maidenhead i believed to be one of the crappest places in the multiverse) with delusions of intellect..

I lived in Reading for 20 years.
To appreciate it better you also need to visit Swindon, Slough, Bracknell and Basingstoke
