Politically Incorrect Games has need of a developer to create original products for our diverse game lines. These products would be short, usually about 10 pages, and sold as PDFs to support existing games. The developer will be responsible for writing and submitting between 2 and 4 short supplements a month. Skills in making maps and deck plans is a serious plus.
The right developer will be able to field ideas from the partners in PIGames and come up with his own. He or she will have to develop an understanding of the games supported and be able to provide game stats for his supplements. A readable and entertaining writing style is a must, as are original and useful ideas. The developer must also be reliable, turning in supplements in a timely manner, since he is only the first in a line of development needs that include art, editing, layout and promotion.
We will pay the developer 10% of net sales. In other words, you receive your portion after any distributor discounts, but all other costs are absorbed by PIGames. A very general estimate of the earning potential for this assignment would place your earnings between $30 and $150 per quarter. This is based loosely on previous sales, though that figure depends largely on how prolific and talented the developer proves to be.
