Wuxalted Psionics

Hey everyone! In this other thread over here we were discussing Wuxia-themed campaigns, and it occured to me that Expanded Psionics could fit nicely, if you threw away all the Pseudo Psience and Crystal Punk flavor, and renamed powers, feats, etc.

So, here's where I propose we do just that!

I'll start:

Powers:
Crystal Shard -> One Obsidian Butterfly
Crystal Spray -> One Hundred Obsidian Butterflies
Crystal Swarm -> Obsidian Butterfly Dance

Animal Affinity -> as-is, or Ancestral Mantra

Entangling Ectoplasm -> One Spirit Hand

Energy Cone (Fire) -> Breath of Xuan Zang

Call Weaponry -> (make any object or bit of clothing behave mechanically like the indicated weapon, not actually summon a weapon) Reliable Blade Technique


Also, I'd suggest that we steal certain Dragon Heritage feats from Complete Arcane, like the one that lets you fly some distance whenever you cast a spell. That's Wuxia if I ever heard it!

Seconded! Not every Enworlder goes out and acquires every single new bit of material on the market. I've no clue what "Wux" refers to.

I feel inspired already. I think I'll allow prospective players to choose either (spontaneous) magic or psionics, and see how each of them fits (or doesn't fit) in practice.
