WYSIWYG editor problems?

One day (I'm gonna say...3 months ago) the buttons in the WYSIWYG text editor just stopped working right. If you hit a button you get a javascript error that says "this command is invalid or not implemented", although the command still seems to work. Also, none of drop down menus (font size, smilies, etc.) work. I've tried this with Firefox, Netscape and IE. What gives?

The server is not reliably transmitting javascript files at peak times. The WYSIWYG editor and other items have been very hit or miss for some time now and I'm hoping the server switch will take care of it - that or the code upgrade.

So it sounds like something that can't be fixed anytime soon then. Could you do us a favor then MM? I for one can't remember all the [whatever] commands and the codes for the smilies, so I'm having a hard time formatting text. Do you think you could sticky a post with the text for the commands and smilies so we can hardcode them into our posts?
