(YB!) Gerrett the Summoner vs. Irene the Mistwalker (Patch Judging!)

Gerrett summons this time a bit more steel to do his bidding as he summon up a great chain as he whips it low for his opponents..... feet... if she has any that is as he tries to trip her from her upright position and take her prone!

"The chain tracks underneath the castle; dodges the efforts of the tides!"

The manticore leaps over the castle; redirects the stab of the settlement!​

Irene leaps up into the air to avoid the summoner's attack as her staff becomes more flexible and grows a stinger which she whips at her opponent.

(Irene surely has feet - how else would she walk?
More seriously, she is (or looks?) very much human apart from the lack of eyes and mouth. Her baldness may or may not be related.)

The sword obliterates the rapids; grasps the offensive of the ice!​

Irene's staff forms into a sword as she lands, lunging forwards and trying to grasp the summoner's hand to stop him from casting.

Gerrett deftly steps back from his opponents lunge.... his hands spreading like a great tall tree as he summons a living willow to smash and destroy his foe with its heavy limbs and massive body....


The willow swiftly destroys the ocean; quells the tempest of the ledge!

Patch nods his head in appreciation of the excellent fighting. "Both very strong attacks, and with good defenses even. But Garrett moved just a little quicker on his feet and it won him the round."

Gerrett raises his hands above his head as if to summon a great beast of destruction and is shocked and amazed as he summons a large dire weasel to his aid of all things!... it chutters a bit with it's vocal cords before rushing at the mistwalker to do Gerretts bidding!


The weasel shatters the wastelands; shields the blood of the field!

The mace sweeps from the cliff; scatters the chi of the flower!​

Irene peels herself from the willow, and her staff transforms into a powerful mace that she swings to sweep away the creature rushing her. At the same time, she throws a small piece that she loosened from her staff previously, scattering into a small red dust cloud that hopefully irritates the weasel before fading into the white of the mists.

Patch watches with interest as the fight progresses. He nods at the tactics of both fighters, but only one can win the round. "Good move Garrett, you got it this round." the judge says while swigging another drink from his gourd.
