Sorry to hear that. That hasn't been my experience with Living Arcanis at all. In fact, I've seen some of my most intense roleplaying moments in that campaign. Different strokes I guess...

When: Friday 3:00 pm - midnight or later and Sunday 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm - 2 different groups.
Where: Madison
Setting: 1. D&D Modern (Modern setting, mostly DnD core rules, heavy Urban Arcana and WoD influence). I'm the DM.
2. Kalamar with a planehopping metaplot. I'm a player.
Characters: 1. 3; a Catholic Paladin/Templar (who's going to be excommunicated tommorrow night), a Halfling Druid, and a Gunslinging Techno-wizard Half-Elf coming in to replace the ex-Monk/PsyWarrior/Barbarian who died last session. 9th-10th level.
2. 8 players; I'm a 10th level wizard/loremaster. In the past 5-6 sessions, I've died 4 times (1 as a TPK), 2 of which were not due to my stupidity at all.
Frequency: 1. Every Friday (more or less) during the school year, sometimes twice a week during breaks.
2. Every Sunday like clockwork.
