Stranger Things Companion Book Features D&D Character Sheets

Next week, the "behind the scenes" book for the TV show Stranger Things comes out. Jon Peterson has scored a copy, and has some photos... and they're of the D&D character sheets for the TV characters! The book is called Worlds Turned Upside Down.

Next up...a full-blown Stranger Things D&D campaign setting? A good opportunity to update d20 Modern for 5E.

I thought that was Str 14 and Cha 14.

I’d go with STR 16, CHA 17 due to the modifiers. I think they’re using the B/X rules.

Why are they using descending AC when each ability score has a modifier next to it?

It's Basic D&D. NOT AD&D. In Basic D&D, AC starts at 9 and descends and abilities go from 3 - 18 with the following modifiers:
3 = -3
4-5 = -2
6-8 = -1
9-12 = 0
13-15 = +1
16-17 = +2
18 = +3

Learned that 38 years ago and it's still burned into my memory.
