Na, I'm more or less alright. The only thing that took heavy damage were power lines and such, which caused the whole thing. I've had some access while at school, but I used those opportunities to keep up w/ the games I was in. But now everything should be nice and easy...though cold.
And true, true, Protection from Energy would've helped immensely...but I'm a spell-less ranger variant, so I kinda screwed myself there, :\
