Bell freezes in panic after her initial display. Grakk's quick kill lets her open mouthed. She only manages to retreat backwards.

Round 1

Soldier sinks his handaxe in the warrior’s armor. Another warrior, man and Halfling appear from the shadowed room. Both the halfling and the warrior throw weapons at the group, but they struck at the wood of the door rather than the heroes. The man runs to a lever at the end of the hall, and pulls it towards himself. With a metal sound and gear clanking, a pair of magical turrets sprout from the ceiling, and aim at the group.

Morvannon's eyes flare green as eldritch symbols flash on the dwarf's skin, but his eyes then widen as he sees the crowd behind the front lines. "Oh crap," he blurts out. With a hurried gesture, he sends a blast of flame in the midst of the rear group, then ducks out of the line of fire of the turret. "That thing looks scary!"

Cliff wrinkles his nose as he steps into the building. The air in here was stale, the door wasn't opened often. Now the air had a chance to move with the doors open. The shifter could see the spirits of air flowing out out to the open space, but he called to them.

They swirled around his body, rufflings cloak, clothes and hair. Cliff leapt into the air and the winds carried him aloft easily over one opponent though he drew strikes from the others.

Easily on the other side, the shifter lashes out with both blades at the dwarf.

Grakk chops his greatsword in a downward motion on top of the dwarf in front of him. The blade doesn't hit with full force but does create a deep gash in the dwarf's right are. Grakk's eye light up as the dwarf winces in pain.

Cliff leaps almost crushing with the ceiling, to land behind the warrior in front of him, and stab at him viciously. But the other two enemies see an opportunity and attack the shifter. The nimble Cliff aboid the first blow from the human, but the dwarf’s hammer impacts him painfully in the arm (11 dmg).

Grakk punishes the dwarf for his attack, his axe striking true over the short but sturdy adversary.

A club wielding man approaches Cliff and hammers him with an accurate hit (6 dmg).
The attacked mercenary turns to face the hairy threat at his back, and with a low growl sends a mighty blow, but too slow for the cat reflexes of Cliff.

The dwarf shifts his attention to Grakk again, and makes his ears ring when he hits him in the head with his heavy hammer (12 dmg).

The magical turrets take aim and shoot, missing Cliff and hitting Garkk in the chest! The bolt sinks in the goliath’s rock skin, almost reaching his heart (19 dmg).
